I reply with “a virtual job fair.”
Ok here goes, “a virtual job fair is our way of bringing the opportunities online from the Employment Guide to your inbox, the EmploymentGuide.com home page, local students and our paper.”
“How does it work?”
Wow, you guys are pulling my leg today. The virtual job fair works as a landing page of companies that are looking to hire people like you, all wrapped up into one eye-friendly, convenient email or web page. W have logos of all the participating companies which link to the job postings that are located within the EmploymentGuide.com. You can then apply to these positions directly based on the individual company’s desires.
“How can I attend, and when is this happening?”
Well, luckily you don’t have to drive anywhere or hop on a bus to get there! You have a few options as to how you can participate. First would be creating a profile with the Employment Guide. You can do this by going to the EmploymentGuide.com and clicking on the orange “Apply for Jobs Online” tab. Follow the steps and you’re in. An added bonus is that whenever jobs become available in the fields you selected, your profile automatically goes to the employer to come and check you out!
Another option is by sending us an email to email@example.com asking to be added to our email list.
In addition to these 2 options, you can head on over to the Orlando.EmploymentGuide.com and look for the Spotlight Employer section. There will be a button that says Virtual Job Fair. This will take you to the page with all the company logos. All students at
Of course on the Orlando JobSpot, we will have the button and a big banner for you to follow for the Virtual Job Fair. Our paper will also have a listing of the companies involved and instructions on where to find the information that you need.
Oh and this is all taking place starting Monday, October 22nd and will run through November 4th. We already have some great companies involved and are adding more every hour. Get your resumes ready and be sure to check your inbox for the job seeking internet event of the year.
Any other questions?
“Um, nope. I think we’re good and very excited for the Virtual Job Fair”
My job here is done. See you tomorrow
