Employment Guide Computer Center - Provided by Palm Tree Computer Systems

First, I would like to give a BIG thank you to all of the job seekers, employers and Rosen staff that played a part in yesterday's successful Diversity Job Fair. We had Channel 6 News live on location and the story ran on their 5 o'clock edition. When all the dust settled and the room was emptied, we were pleased with the 600+ job seekers that had an opportunity to get in front of the people that make it possible to start a new career.

One of the *New* features we were able to offer was the Computer Center - Sponsored by Palm Tree Computer Systems, of Oviedo, FL. We had 3 laptops wired up and logged onto Orlando.EmploymentGuide.com where job seekers were able to sign up for job alerts and profiles on location. This was a great resource for job seekers and gave us an opportunity to talk to them about the online movement in the recruiting world. As more and more job seekers turn online and employers shift their focus form print to online oriented, educating both parties will only help ensure that responses are met and vacancies are filled.

Once again we would like to thank Palm Tree Computer Services for their kind donation of the laptops. We hope to continue this partnership through the future and build a great sense of community with great organizations like Palm Tree who are dedicated to lending a hand in their own backyard.

Here is some quick info about Palm Tree from their website:

Look for more coverage from the job fair tomorrow. Job seekers, if you have any questions about the event, or would like any more information on the job seeking community in Orlando, please leave a comment on this post or send an email to greg.rollett@employmentguide.com.

Happy hunting Orlando!
