Using Video in Personal Branding - Presentation at Orlando Job Fair

Video Marketing at Job Fairphoto by f-l-e-x

As part of the Orlando Job Fair on Wednesday, January 20th we will be having job seeker resources to help in the overall process of looking for a new job. This includes a computer station, resume critiquing, a video creation station and 2 information packed sessions.

We explored the first of the presentations, Looking For Jobs Online, earlier in the week. Today we wanted to talk some more about the 2nd session which focuses on using video to enhance your personal branding efforts.

In this session Greg Rollett, Social Media and Internet Marketing Specialist for the Orlando Employment Guide will be leading a discussion on ways to use video to increase your profile, showcase your skills and give you a competitive advantage.

This video marketing session will include

The difference between a video resume and using video in personal branding

The discrimination objection

How to easily create videos to showcase your skills and knowledge

Free resources to create videos

What cameras you can use to create online video

How to create a video blog in an afternoon

What services to use to host and stream your videos

Why video is the here and now in marketing

Following this session, the Video Blog Creation Station will open, helping 50 job seekers create a 45 second to 1 minute video to use to kickstart their personal brand. You can pre-register to be one of the 50 here.

We look forward to seeing you on Wednesday, January 20h at the Plaza Theatre. If you have any questions about the event, the sessions or the videos, please contact Greg at greg.rollett@employmentguide.com.

Happy hunting Orlando!
